Rosemont Studio is a Small, and Independent, Business. We love our work and want to help you to preserve and enhance your precious wooden items. Whether they are old or new, large or small, is of no concern. If they are made from wood, and need tender loving care, then Rosemont Studio is the place for you!
Our Mission......is to help you maintain your wooden items and keep them in good condition for many more years to come. No item is too small for our specialist treatment. If you think your piece may be too large, it may be possible to have the work done on site.
Company ProfileRosemont Studio is owned by Joy Leese. Joy has always had a passion for living things and believes that even after felling, a tree still needs caring for. That is why she turned to French Polishing to earn a living. Joy will also Gild, Hand Paint and will undertake many different forms of Paint Effects. Joy trained through City and Guilds of London Institute. She qualified in Wood Finishing, Furniture Craft and Furniture Advanced Studies. Over the years Joy has done many varied jobs and had many satisfied
customers, who return to her for other pieces needing care and treatment.
In her spare time Joy turns pieces of wood. At the moment she is enjoying experimenting with many different sorts of wood to see the effect that can be achieved from her lathe. A pet project, currently, is to turn mushrooms and then French Polish them. "I am very lucky pursuing a career which I adore. I never tire of spending hours in my workshop. Every job is a new challenge, bringing with it a unique outcome".
